Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Collectverse ("we", "us") for using the Collectverse app and this website. By using either, you accept them. If you don’t, please don’t use Collectverse.

How we handle your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

The service

Collectverse lets you catalogue the things you collect — collections, items, photos and the details that matter to you — and keeps them in sync across your devices, including when you are offline.

Collectverse is free. If we ever add optional paid features, we will tell you before they apply to you, and nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement through the App Store or Google Play.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Collectverse. If the law where you live requires a parent’s or guardian’s consent at your age, you need it too.
• Give accurate information when you create an account, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• Guest accounts are tied to the phone they were created on. If you delete the app or lose the phone before linking an email, Apple or Google to the account, you lose access to it, and so do we — there is no way to recover it. Link an account in Settings → Account to keep your collections.

Your content

Everything you create in Collectverse — collections, items, photos, notes — remains yours. You give us permission to store, copy, process and show it back to you only as needed to run the service; that permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

Nothing you create is published or shown to other users. You are responsible for having the right to upload the photos and information you add.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Collectverse to:

• store or share anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights;
• try to access another person’s account or data, or interfere with the service, its security or its infrastructure;
• reverse-engineer, scrape or overload the service, except where the law expressly allows it.

If you break these rules seriously or repeatedly, we may suspend or close your account. We will tell you why, unless the law prevents us. If we become aware of illegal content, we may remove it and report it to the authorities when the law requires us to.

Availability

We work to keep Collectverse running and your data safe, but we can’t promise the service will always be available or free of errors. Changes you make offline are kept on your phone until they can sync; if the app is deleted before that, they are lost. Keep the original photos of anything that matters to you.

We may change or improve the app over time. If we ever decide to shut Collectverse down, we will give you reasonable notice in advance.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Collectverse at any time, and delete your account and everything in it from Settings → Account → Delete account, or as described on the account deletion page.

The app stores

Your use of the app is also subject to the terms of the store you downloaded it from — Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement or the Google Play Terms of Service. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the app, its content or its support.

Liability

We provide Collectverse with care, but "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for the loss of data you could have kept yourself. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract — including those under Brazil’s Consumer Defense Code.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we will update the date at the top. If a change is material, we will tell you before it takes effect, in the app or by email. If you keep using Collectverse after that, the new terms apply; if you don’t agree, you can delete your account.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim in the courts where you live, and the mandatory consumer protections of your own country continue to apply.
